In the late spring of 2008, I received a phone call asking me if I would come and play at the wake of a young woman I had met only a handful of times. She had taken her own life, after struggling with depression for many years. Almost the moment I put the phone down, this song started practically writing itself, and I ended up performing it at the memorial.

Lisa used to work passionately for the Whale and Dolphin Conservation Society www.wdcs.org, so I thought it would be fitting to record this song and sell it separately with some of the proceeds going to WDCS, as a way to honour her memory.

Every copy sold, whether download, or CD will mean another pound for WDCS. Please note, the CD also includes a B-Side: "Granny", which is an instrumental guitar piece, inspired by the lady who always made sure the right biscuits were in the cupboard if I was coming to visit.
